Ceramic Rose - Summer Fun Workshop

This workshop will give you the opportunity to make a ceramic Rose for your garden.

Your rose will be able to attach to a metal rod that can then be positioned in your garden adding a beautiful, year round burst of colour.

During the first part of the workshop I will demonstrate in stages, how to make your rose, so that we can work together through the various processes.

When your rose has been constructed you will be able to paint it using a wide range of underglaze colours. 

After the workshop, your rose, when dry, will be bisque fired. I will then glaze it with a transparent glaze and fire again to 1200°C.

Finished roses can be collected in approximately 3 to 6 weeks (depending on weather/drying conditions) or posted for a P&P cost of £10. 

30cm long metal rods are provided for each rose as part of this workshop.

This is a 3 hour workshop and will run from 10am – 1pm.
